Ken Loach’s superb swipe at zero-hours Britain. Substantially researched, this is a gut-wrenching tale of a delivery worker driven to the brink.

A: It’s real – depressing – breadline – BRITAIN.  NOTHING EVER CHANGES !!! (A)   Bit too realistic but managed to have humour!  (A)     !!!! (A)  Great film. (A)  Gripping and gritty drama – well acted and well directed. Emotional viewing. (A) What a film! Horrendous reflection of low waged, zero hours workers being exploited for other’s gain. Unfortunately we all know how hardship has escalated since Brexit and the pandemic. Shameful. (A)  So moving, but I suspect it depicted a reality experienced by some people! (A)           

B:  Very good..but unrelenting doom. (B)  Grim, but it needs to be said (B)   What an indictment of modern work – shocking (B) Totally grim. (B)  Very powerful, what a society we sadly live in. (B)

C: Very powerful – we don’t know the half of it.  (C)
